The Senior Accountant manages full-cycle accounting functions including property management, construction draws, and general ledger maintenance for TPC Homes. They are responsible for financial reporting, month-end close procedures, and coordinating external audits and annual budgets.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5-7 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in Yardi and Excel. Experience in affordable housing, LIHTC, or nonprofit fund accounting is highly preferred.

Job Description Summary:
TPC Homes is the housing development and property management affiliate of The People Concern, one of LA's most respected homeless services organizations. We create and operate high-quality affordable and supportive housing for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness—because housing isn't just shelter, it's the foundation for stability and dignity.
We're at an exciting inflection point. We've grown from concept to 200+ units and have a pipeline that will triple our portfolio over the next 3 years. LA is experiencing an unprecedented shift in its approach to affordable housing, and we're positioned to be a significant part of the solution.
The Senior Accountant reports to the Executive Director and is the primary hands-on accounting resource for TPC Homes. This is an individual contributor role responsible for executing the full range of day-to-day accounting and transaction processing functions, including property management accounting, financial reporting, construction accounting, and general ledger maintenance. TPC Homes works with third-party consultants to provide additional supervisory and subject matter expertise support.
