The Financial Counselor provides patients with information on anticipated expenses, insurance coverage, and financial assistance programs. They are responsible for screening patients for Medicaid and other assistance programs while collecting pre-payments for services.
Requires an Associate Degree in business or healthcare, or two years of relevant healthcare or collection experience. Candidates must obtain HPE and MNsure certifications within two months of hire.
