The HIM Specialist provides technical assistance and training to users of the electronic medical record system. They act as a liaison between HIM and IT for application design, testing, and issue resolution while auditing internal processes.
Candidates must be high school graduates with at least 2 years of HIM experience and familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Epic. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology or Administration is preferred.
