Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Field Operations, and subject matter experts to gather information and supporting content for proposal responses.
Format proposal documents using Adobe InDesign to ensure compliance with submission requirements, brand standards, and overall presentation quality.
Coordinate proposal timelines, communicate deadlines, follow up on deliverables, and escalate issues as needed to support timely submission.
Review proposal documents for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and consistency prior to submission.
Maintain and update proposal templates, standard responses, content libraries, FAQs, and supporting documentation.
Ensure proposal materials remain current with changes to products, services, messaging, and branding.
Maintain familiarity with Barnes & Noble College's products, services, and proposal resources to support proposal development.
Maintain awareness of higher education trends and competitor information as they relate to proposal responses.
Support the development and maintenance of presentations, marketing collateral, and other business development materials, as assigned.
Additional responsibilities as required.

1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, proposal development, technical writing, or a related field.
Experience supporting formal proposal development processes, including RFIs and RFPs, preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
Experience using Adobe InDesign required; Adobe Photoshop experience is a plus.
Strong written, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
