The HR Assistant provides administrative support for the HR department, including managing personnel records, posting job openings, and reviewing applications. They are also responsible for maintaining reports on employee benefits and PTO, and assisting with payroll for Canadian employees.
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred, along with a minimum of three years of HR experience in a corporate environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS software like UltiPro or ADP is required.
General Description: The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support for the HR department. The duties related to this position will include collecting employees’ personal information and compiling personnel records, posting job openings, and reviewing applications to ensure that applicants are qualified for positions advertised for the organization. The HR Assistant will be responsible for creating, and maintaining various Adhoc reports related to employee benefits, paid-time-off (PTO), and any others as assigned within the Human Resources department. The Human Resources Assistant will perform functions which rely on a substantial knowledge of HR terminology, requirements, process, procedures, and operations, in addition to regulatory requirements as applicable to HR transactions.
