You will be working to make the world of one of the largest global organisations safer, by coordinating and fulfilling operational duties required by Amazon, working closely and supporting the Security Management team, ensuring constant adherence to standards, policies and procedures and delivery of an efficient and effective service. This position has direct management, financial and operational responsibility for all countries under their remit.
Amazon Corporate Security (ACS) is looking for a Regional Project Manager (RPM) who embodies the Amazon Leadership Principles of Customer Obsession, Ownership, Bias for Action, Think Big, and is eager to help deliver ACS’s vision of providing a safe and secure workplace for all Amazonians.
General Roles and Responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing the planning, coordination and delivery of strategic security workstreams and systems, ensuring security initiatives are proactive, data-led and embedded across the region. The Regional Project Manager will ensure appropriate operational service delivery by fully and satisfactorily completing duties which include, but are not limited to:
Managing and Leading:
Regional Project Manager will be responsible for managing all projects within countries under their remit.
Serves as a key point of contact to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service for Amazon account, evaluates service quality and initiates any necessary communication and/or corrective action in a timely manner.
Develop and maintain comprehensive plans for each security and safety workstream, ensuring clarity of ownership and accountability.
Lead and manage security-related projects across the organisation, including mapping, responsibilities, timelines, and dependencies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to embed consistent standards and proactive safety culture.
Track and report on project status, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies.
Deploy best practices across scope and functionally, drive continuous improvement activities within scope by specific trainings in close alignment with the Securitas Account Management.
Operational Excellence
Liaise with compliance and legal teams to ensure all security projects meet regulatory and ethical standards.
Work closely with operational leads and compliance teams to ensure security initiatives are integrated and supported.
Identify and initiate improvement opportunities; recognise (potential) issues, propose and critically evaluate solutions and effectively resolve the matter / implement the solution.
Demonstrate the core brand values and culture of both Securitas and Amazon, promoting a positive image of our customer and Securitas Security Services at all times.
Communication
Maintain effective communication with the line managers to ensure staff provide the highest level of customer service and care, maintain and promote a safe and secure environment and act in accordance with the client requirements and Securitas policies.
The Regional Project Manager reports directly to the Regional Account Director.
The role is customer facing and daily contact with the customer is a big part of a Regional Project Managers Job, therefore the ability to communicate effectively is essential.
Qualifications
Requirements – Essential
Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Business Management, Accounting or equivalent education or significant years of work experience.
Security licence
CPP, PSP, CISSP, CSMP or similar certification.
Proven experience in project management within a security or compliance context.
Strong understanding of risk management, safety protocols, and operational resilience.
Experience of dealing with information and intelligence, interpreting security threats and risks and management of investigations.
Experience managing service providers and vendors.
Results-oriented with strong delivery focus who can work independently and collaboratively with global teams.
Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
Ability to work with integrity whilst unsupervised whilst maintaining confidentiality.
Strong general IT ability.
Excellent communication and organisation skills.
Strong attention to detail. - Experience within the security industry.
