Serve as the scientific expert in oncology and GPCR biology to lead discovery and early development programs for internal and external clients. Provide technical leadership in designing experiments, reviewing preclinical strategies, and driving decisions from target validation to IND filings.
Requires a PhD in a relevant scientific field or an MS with substantial industry experience and at least 8 years of experience in drug discovery. Must possess deep knowledge of GPCR biology and tumor signaling pathways with a proven track record in translational oncology.
Serve as the scientific and strategic expert in oncology and GPCR biology for WuXi AppTec’s US site, supporting discovery, translational and early development programs as well as external client projects. Provide technical leadership & consultation across cross‑functional teams, design and review experiments and preclinical strategies, evaluate external partnerships and scientific deliverables, and help drive decisions from target validation through lead selection and IND‑enabling activities.
