Provide emergency medical care, including patient assessment and basic life support, to guests and staff at the zoo. Maintain emergency equipment, handle radio communications, and ensure safety protocols are followed during daily operations and special events.
Must be a Texas State licensed EMT-B, Advanced, or Paramedic with a valid CPR certification and a clean driving record. Preference is given to candidates with at least one year of related experience and Spanish language fluency.

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As an EMT, you will render patient assessment, including physical examination and First Aid and Basic Life Support including airway management, circulatory and shock management, clinical assessment, orthopedic care, medication administration, obstetrics, medical and trauma care, patient extrication, and safety. This role requires daytime availability and some nighttime availability for our Roar's N' Snores overnight events.
