Transport, load, unload, and store steel coils using forklifts and cranes while managing scrap and packaging. Maintain a clean work environment and complete all required product paperwork and system inputs.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and mandatory certifications for forklift and crane operation. Candidates must possess basic math skills, English literacy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
A Material Handler regularly performs routine to moderately advanced production activities to maintain the flow of work under limited supervision. Performs other duties as assigned.
Transport, load, unload, and store steel coils in appropriate locations using various equipment (Forklift, Crane, etc.).
Inspect and assist in packaging coils as needed and manage scrap.
Completes required paperwork/system input for each product.
Maintain a clean work environment by keeping work area free of trash and scrap.
Performs other duties as assigned.
