The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing ultrasound procedures under the direction of a radiologist while ensuring patient safety and comfort. They must also demonstrate competence in the production and analysis of ultrasound images for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program and hold RDMS registration. Additionally, applicants are required to maintain an active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
