Requires a High School Diploma or GED. Preference is given to candidates with one year of experience in billing or patient registration and a CHAA certification.
Hours: Every Saturday and Sunday (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
Overview
Responsible for registration of all patient types within their department. Works daily reports and account work queues to ensure the integrity of registration data. The Patient Access representative is responsible for the delivery of critical components of the Revenue Cycle; understanding regulatory compliance, maintaining patient safety through correct patient identification practices, and providing excellent customer service.
