What You'll Do
Conduct patient assessments and participate in treatment planning
Complete intake evaluations and facilitate group counseling sessions
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Provide crisis intervention and individual counseling
Conduct treatment plan reviews and participate in case conferences
Educate patients on program expectations, rights, and recovery goals
Coordinate referrals to community resources and support services
Collect and administer urine/swab drug screens following chain-of-custody procedures
Attend supervision, team meetings, and required trainings
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations and policies
Qualifications
Counselor I
Pay: $21.25 – $26.00/hour
Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher; or qualifying CSAC credentials
CSAC Supervisee or CSAC Supervisee Pending preferred
Eligible for certification/licensure through the Virginia Board or nationally recognized certifying body
Experience in substance use treatment preferred
Counselor II
Pay: $25.00 – $31.00/hour
Required:
Bachelor's degree or higher
One or more of the following:
CSAC
Resident in Counseling
Resident in Marriage & Family Therapy
Supervisee in Clinical Social Work
LCSW pathway candidate
Eligible for applicable licensure/certification in Virginia
Counselor III
Pay: $31.25 – $36.06/hour
