Responsibilities
Design and own the outbound engine by building systems for signal detection, account scoring, and multi-channel sequencing. Partner with the founding team to codify repeatable playbooks and instrument metrics to optimize the commercial GTM motion.
Requirements
Requires 2+ years of experience in GTM engineering, growth, or revenue operations within B2B SaaS. Proficiency in modern GTM stacks, CRM administration, and LLM-powered workflow automation is essential.
Full job description
About the Role
Procurement is a $4.2 trillion market where strategic decisions worth millions are still made manually — fragmented data, weeks of preparation, and negotiations run on instinct rather than intelligence. Monq changes that. We've built an AI negotiation engine that sits inside enterprise procurement workflows, giving teams the strategic clarity to negotiate faster and win better terms.
We're now hiring a GTM Engineer to build the machine that finds our next hundred customers. You won't be dialing through a static list — you'll be designing the systems that identify the right enterprises at the right moment, engineering outbound that reads like it was written by someone who studied the account for a week, and compressing what a traditional SDR team does in a month into a single automated workflow. This is a builder's role inside the commercial team: part revenue operator, part engineer, reporting directly to the founding team.
Ready to prove that one person with the right systems can outperform an entire outbound team? Let's get in touch.
What You'll Be Doing
Pipeline Engineering:
Design, build, and own the outbound engine — signal detection, account scoring, enrichment, and multi-channel sequencing — using tools like Clay, Apollo, HeyReach, and LLM-powered workflows
Turn buying signals into pipeline: new CPO appointments, ERP migrations, cost-reduction mandates, earnings-call language, and procurement transformation announcements across our target verticals
Generate and qualify enterprise opportunities for the US market, owning the motion from first signal to a qualified meeting handed to the Account Executive team
GTM Systems and Automation:
Build and maintain the data infrastructure behind the commercial motion — CRM hygiene, enrichment pipelines, lead routing, and attribution — so every rep works from clean, current, actionable data
Prototype AI agents for research, personalization, and follow-up, then productionize the ones that work; kill the ones that don't, fast
Instrument everything: define the metrics, build the dashboards, and run the experiments that tell us which messages, channels, and segments actually convert
Commercial Feedback Loop:
Work directly with the founders — what you learn from signal data, reply patterns, and prospect conversations feeds into positioning, pricing, and the product roadmap in real time
Codify what works into repeatable playbooks; the systems you build become the foundation the entire US GTM team scales on
Partner with Account Executives on strategic accounts, engineering bespoke research and outreach for the deals that matter most
What You'll Need
Essential Experience:
2+ years in a GTM engineering, growth, sales development, or revenue operations role — ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise software — with verifiable pipeline or revenue outcomes you engineered yourself
Hands-on proficiency with the modern GTM stack: enrichment and orchestration platforms (Clay or equivalent), sequencing tools, CRM administration, and API-based integrations between them
Demonstrated ability to use LLMs beyond chat — you've built prompts, chains, or agents into a working revenue workflow, not just experimented on the side
Evidence of systems you built independently that produced measurable results — a workflow you designed, an experiment you ran, a process you automated end to end
Professional Skills:
Comfortable operating where the process is still being defined — you build structure rather than relying on it
Analytical by default — you form hypotheses, test them against data, and change course without ego when the numbers disagree
Write outbound copy that senior procurement and finance executives actually answer — concise, specific, and grounded in their business
Enough genuine interest in AI and procurement to hold a substantive conversation with sophisticated buyers about the problem Monq solves
Nice to Have
Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or JavaScript for data manipulation and workflow automation
Experience in procurement technology, supply chain software, or enterprise SaaS
Previous experience in an early-stage company where you contributed to building the GTM function from scratch
Compensation and Benefits
At Monq, we recognise that the commercial team defines the trajectory of a category-defining company. We offer:
Competitive Package:
Significant equity stake — play a real part in Monq's potential to capture a $4.2T market
Bi-annual performance bonuses tied to qualified pipeline generated and revenue outcomes
Work Environment:
Hybrid, New York-based with 4 days in-person
Direct collaboration with the founding team and Fortune 500 procurement teams
Annual team retreat — fully-funded off-site focused on growth and team building
Career Growth:
Visa sponsorship available for exceptional candidates who complete our recruitment process
Opportunity to define the GTM engineering discipline for AI-powered enterprise negotiations — and to lead the function as it scales
Direct mentorship from founders with backgrounds at Revolut and HSBC
Others:
No HR organisation
Minimum 30 days of annual leave and a day off in the month of your birthday
Flexible working hours as long as we get the things done
Temporary work from abroad up to 120 days a year (certain limitations apply depending on your nationality/work authorisation status and tax obligations)
Our Interview Process
We run a focused interview process designed for builders:
Screening Call (30 minutes):
Discussion of your GTM systems background, the stack you've worked with, and the outcomes you've engineered
Overview of Monq's commercial opportunity, target customer profile, and current GTM stage
Alignment on compensation expectations, location, and role scope
GTM Engineering Challenge — Take-home and Presentation (45 minute debrief):
Take-home task: given Monq's ideal customer profile and product overview, design an outbound system — signal sources, enrichment logic, segmentation, sequencing, and the metrics you'd use to judge it
Present your architecture to the founding team — walk through your design decisions, trade-offs, and how you'd iterate from the first 100 sends
Discussion of your tooling choices, experiment design, and how you separate signal from noise
Live Build Interview (60 minutes):
A hands-on working session based on a real scenario Monq has faced — a segment that stopped converting, a data quality problem, or a new signal source to operationalize
Assessment of how you scope the problem, choose your tools, and get to a working solution under time pressure
Deep dive into the highest-impact system you've built — the full story from idea to measured result
Bar Raiser Interview and On-site Collaboration (half a day):
Conversation with one of Monq's co-founders on the most complex GTM system you have owned
Live working session with the GTM team on a current Monq pipeline challenge
Meeting with a procurement domain expert or customer stakeholder
Assessment of how you operate at the intersection of engineering rigour, commercial judgement, and speed
About Monq
Monq is building the first AI platform specifically designed for strategic procurement negotiation. We're creating a blue ocean in a $4.2 trillion market that has been ignored by existing AI solutions. Our team brings together deep technical expertise in AI with proven experience in enterprise software and procurement.
We're backed by forward-thinking investors who understand the massive opportunity in applying advanced AI to high-value B2B negotiations. With several major enterprises joining us, we're positioned to become the category-defining platform for AI-powered procurement. We are founded and backed by Revolut and HSBC executives.

Monq is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
We actively encourage applications from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences to join this multicultural, ambitious team.
Accommodations for Applicants with Disabilities
Monq is dedicated to providing reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and applicable state and local laws. If you require any adjustments during the recruitment process, please indicate this in your application or contact us directly at [email protected]
Important notice for candidates
Job scams are on the rise, and fraudsters sometimes impersonate companies like Monq to target applicants. Please keep these guidelines in mind when applying for any of our open roles:
Apply only through official Monq channels. We post roles solely on our own careers page and verified partner job boards such as LinkedIn. We don't use third-party agents or platforms to manage our recruitment, and we'll never contact you about a role you didn't apply for.
Verify every email. All genuine communication from our team comes from an official @monq.io address. Check the sender's full address carefully — lookalike domains (extra letters, swapped characters, or free email providers like Gmail or Outlook) are a red flag.
We will never ask for money or financial details. Monq does not request payment, equipment fees, or personal financial information (bank details, card numbers, deposits) at any stage of the hiring process. Any such request is a scam.
When in doubt, confirm. If something feels off, pause and verify directly with us before responding or sharing any information.
If you receive a suspicious message claiming to be from Monq, please don't reply or click any links. Report it to us at [email protected] and, where relevant, to your local authorities.
