Perform aircraft repairs and line maintenance under the supervision of a Base Engineer to ensure fleet safety and performance. Assist with routine inspections, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain accurate maintenance records.
Candidates must hold an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer college diploma or equivalent and be able to obtain Airport Security Clearance (RAIC). A basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and a willingness to work in remote locations are required.

Since 1978 Air Inuit has been providing scheduled, charter, cargo, and emergency air transportation services in Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Collectively owned by the Inuit of Nunavik, through the Makivvik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of over 35 aircraft ranging from a De Havilland Twin Otter 300 Series to a Boeing 737 200, 300 and 800 and employs over 1000 employees in one of the most challenging flight environments.

As an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will board on an exciting journey to develop your skills and knowledge in the aviation industry. This role is designed for enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow under the guidance of experienced professionals. You will play a crucial role in supporting our aircraft maintenance team, ensuring our fleet remains at the pinnacle of safety and performance. Under supervision of the Senior Base Engineer or Base Engineer you will carry-out repairs and line maintenance on Air Inuit’s fleet.
