Manage complex, multi-party construction defect claims with a focus on coverage analysis and risk transfer. Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for less experienced adjusters while participating in Large Loss committees.
Requires deep expertise in handling Additional Insured tenders and extensive knowledge of insurance policies and endorsements. Must obtain all lines claim licensing as required by the state.
Position Compensation Range:
$88,000.00 - $145,000.00Pay Rate Type:
SalaryCompensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.
Investigate high exposure construction claims by contacting the appropriate parties including insureds, agents, attorneys, contractors, experts, other adjusters, etc.
Interprets and determines policies and contracts.
Handles Additional Insured claims under multiple policy types and numerous endorsements.
Strong negotiations skills when dealing with general contractor attorneys and adjusters.
Make independent decisions but recognize when assistance is needed.
Proactively provides all parties with claim process and status as appropriate; answers questions or redirects to other areas.
Serves as a mentor and subject matter expert for less experienced adjusters.
May be required to complete other assignments, job duties, or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience.
Participates in Large Loss committees
Demonstrated ability to handle Additional Insured tenders and evaluation across our operating territories.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively handle complex claims.
Extensive knowledge of policies and endorsements coverages.
Successfully applied knowledge of each phase of the claim handling process.
Obtain state specifically all lines claim licensing as required.
