The Regional Transition Program Manager acts as the primary point of contact for transitioning new data centers from construction and commissioning teams to operations. They are responsible for overseeing site mobilization, risk management, and ensuring operational readiness through stakeholder collaboration and documentation review.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in critical environment infrastructure deployment or maintenance. The role requires Australian citizenship and the ability to pass specialized government and Microsoft cloud security screenings.
Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As the Regional Transition Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.
This role is responsible for operational readiness and governance of new datacentre facilities, ensuring successful handover from design, construction and commissioning teams into long-term operations. The role drives stakeholder alignment, readiness planning, risk management, continuous improvement and operational excellence across the project lifecycle.
