On Railway Parade in the heart of Maylands, the Peninsula Tavern has been a drinking destination for locals and visitors for years.
Peninsula Tavern provides locals and visitors with a place to enjoy a drink after a long day at work, to catch the game on the big screen or to celebrate a milestone.
A day in the life of a Publican:
You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.
Inherent requirements:
This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.
About you:
You already know if this is for you. You’ve got the experience, the presence, and the pride it takes to own a pub like it’s been yours forever. You're not just running a venue - you're living the Publican life.
Hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements
