The Intervenor supports communication and daily living activities for individuals with dual sensory impairment to promote independence. Responsibilities include providing personal care, relaying information via communication techniques, and assisting with goal development in home and community settings.
Candidates must have a college diploma or certificate in a related human services field, such as Intervenor for Deafblind Persons or DSW. A valid Class G driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proficiency in ASL or SEE are required.
