The Neuropsychology service within the Pediatric Oncology team offers an important role in the long term outcomes of children diagnosed with cancer in the Hamilton, Halton, Waterloo and Niagara regions. Neuropsychological assessment referrals are received exclusively from the pediatric hematology and oncology program and the position will have a designated psychometrist. Knowledge and experience with neuro-oncological diagnoses, such as brain tumors and leukemia’s, as well as exposure to associated neurological sequelae including seizures, stroke, and other blood disorders, would be an asset.
