Performing shipping and receiving duties, the Storekeeper also cycle counts inventory, receives and stocks inventory parts. Duties and Responsibilities  Issues parts and tools to Technicians as needed or directed by Supervisors and Engineers.  Performs periodic stock counts, issues and credits parts and tools and prepares proper documentation.  Accepts material from carriers, signs for the material and loads/unloads material.  Inspects material for damage and ensures completeness of shipments.  Properly prepares and packages material for transport including preparing the necessary company and carrier documents.  Initiates and completes all required documentation  Maintains storage facilities including racks, shelves, bins and other locations.  Performs light mechanical assembly tasks.  Operates forklifts, pallet movers and other material handling equipment.  Light cleaning duties  Performs other related duties as required. Qualifications and Experience:  Inventory and inventory control experience is a must.  Must be able to work in a 24/365 work environment. Variable hours and shifts.  Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.  Must pass 10-year background check for SIDA badging  A combination of education and experience may be acceptable.  Industrial stores experience is preferred.  2-4 years computer experience required -spreadsheets experience a plus.  Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision. Education  High School Diploma or equivalent.
