The English Teacher is responsible for developing and delivering age-appropriate literacy and literature curricula to foster students' communication and critical thinking skills. They must manage an inclusive classroom environment and collaborate with parents and staff to support student academic growth.
A bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field is preferred, along with state teaching certification. Candidates should possess strong knowledge of child development, classroom management, and a passion for serving urban students.

The English Teacher is to educate and inspire students in the English language, literature, and communication skills, fostering their intellectual and personal growth while equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed for effective communication, critical thinking, and lifelong learning.
This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment. The employee may be required to deal with students with behavioral risks.
