About the Role:
As an Electrician within the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems that support production processes. Your expertise will be essential in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical wiring and switchgear to guarantee uninterrupted power distribution across commercial and industrial facilities. You will collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams to balance electrical loads and optimize system performance, thereby minimizing downtime and enhancing operational reliability. This position demands a thorough understanding of electrical codes and safety standards to uphold compliance and protect personnel and equipment. Ultimately, your work will directly contribute to the seamless functioning of manufacturing operations and the achievement of organizational productivity goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid electrician license or certification as required by state regulations or at least 6 years of industrial experience with VOE ability.
Proven experience in electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and maintenance within commercial or industrial settings.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and switchgear operation.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree or technical certification in electrical technology or related field.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automated control systems.
Completion of OSHA safety training or equivalent workplace safety certifications.
Demonstrated ability to work with balancing electrical loads in complex systems.
