NOTE: This position is for 1STshift hours - 7 AM-3:2pm
Summary/objective
1.Performs Diversified duties in several trades: Electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, plumbing and building trades. Troubleshoots and repairs machines, processes, and system as they related to the overall maintenance function of manufacturing facility. Works closely with the health and safety department to insurance employee safety is maintained at acceptable levels.
2.Tools & Machines: hand tools, machinist tools, meters, gauges, precision measuring instruments, electrical test equipment, milling machine, grinder, lathe, burning torch, welding machine, instruments used in the monitoring of employee health and safety and other equipment used to maintain equipment and systems.
3.Materials Used: Diagrams, blueprints, equipment manuals, metals, cleaning agents, lubricants, chemicals, log sheets, chemical manifests, and other materials used in the maintenance function.
The ideal candidate will have intermediate-level experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and automation within a manufacturing environment. Preferred qualifications include:
Experience optimizing and maintaining automated manufacturing lines
Knowledge of PLC programming, including Omron and Allen-Bradley systems
Experience with HMI development and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of industrial robots and robotic automation
Experience performing loop calibrations
Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
Proficiency using multimeters and other electrical diagnostic tools
Experience working with electrical hardware, including contactors, relays, timers, and related components
Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot wired electrical control panels
Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Experience performing Preventive Maintenance (PM)
Thorough understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and safety practices
Candidates with hands-on experience in these areas will be strongly preferred.
