The Solar Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing solar PV systems and associated equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Duties range from assisting higher-level technicians to executing complex electrical repairs and preparing switching orders.
Requirements vary by level, ranging from a high school diploma and basic mechanical aptitude for Level I to 4+ years of PV solar or electrician experience for Level III. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to work non-standard hours.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Solar Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, servicing, and repairing solar PV systems and associated equipment. The primary objective is to maintain safe, effective, efficient, and profitable solar PV operation.

The pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, relevant and demonstrated experience, education, training and certifications, and other factors permitted by law. This role is eligible to earn an annual cash bonus, subject to personal and company performance goals.
