The role involves designing automation machinery based on customer specifications and company standards while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Responsibilities include creating CAD designs, sourcing mechanical components, and collaborating with programmers and assembly teams during the debugging phase.
Candidates must have a Technologist Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2 years of mechanical design experience. A valid passport and driver's license are required for local and international travel to customer sites.

Responsible for ensuring that the design meets the customer’s expectations, is completed within the scheduled timeframe, and can be manufactured within the budgeted time and costs.
