eCOA Testing Team Manager
The Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage the development of the Clinical Outcome Technology (COT) Testing team. This involves oversight of the team’s testing portfolio including resource allocation, process needs assessment and development, and expanding scope of services and client base. The Manager, PCS may also be involved in performing ad hoc test lead and testing activity as required.
The Manager will guide staff development through identifying skill needs, delegating tasks appropriately and motivating project staff to provide outstanding client service and high quality deliverables.
Responsibilities

Actively supports the growth and integration of service areas with PCS.
Responsible for the development and the driving of continuous improvement initiatives within the COT department.
Ensures the development, communication, and execution of functional processes in a manner consistent with the framework of the COT department
Responsible for the human resource management activities including maintenance of proper staffing levels, resource optimization, attainment of individual and team goals, employee relations, mentoring, talent/career development, and rewards/recognition based on achievement of goals.
Ensures resources are shared dynamically to meet the demands (internal and external) of specific areas within the department
Leads, inspires and ensures appropriate ownership and accountability in a global, often virtual, environment
Proactively and independently expands eCOA knowledge base on constantly evolving industry-related trends, news and best practices
Continually cultivates, develops and maintains positive business relationships with other functional teams and departments within ICON
Responsible for teams’ alignment and support of sales efforts
Functional
Develops staff through training and coaching opportunities and by creating and maintaining methodologies, tools, training manuals, and checklists to improve the department’s processes and overall business organization
Proactively communicates department’s objectives and results with clients, leadership team and all functional partners
Represents department at internal and external meetings and strategy review presentations/overviews as appropriate
Facilitates identification and resolution of project issues; aides in the development of CAPA responses as-needed
Monitors and tracks project team’s deliveries in accordance with timelines, product quality, timeliness and professionalism
Oversee UAT strategy and execution for eCOA platforms, ensuring test coverage aligns with study requirements and procedural expectations
Mentor and mange UAT testers and test leads, review test scripts, resolve escalations
Act as the primary liaison between the testing team and operational users
Ensure platform readiness for go-live
Such other duties and tasks as are allocated to you at the reasonable discretion of the Company.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant SOPs, policies and procedures.
What you willl need
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Previous experience of managing/leading a team
Significant experience in eCOA, research technology, Outcomes Research, or eClinical/Clinical field or related services/industry.
Experience in user acceptance testing methodology and concepts
Comfortable managing a variety of tasks at one time
Strong leadership, influencing, and motivational skills
Excellent communication skills
Fluency in English both verbal and written
Analytic, problem-solving skills
Focus on continuous improvement
