About the Role
Kandor Management is looking for a Senior System Administrator to join our team and support Kendrix, our technology division. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on building resilient infrastructure and driving IT strategy across a multi-company environment while providing IT services. You'll take ownership of critical systems — from virtualization and disaster recovery to security and compliance — while working closely with stakeholders to keep our technology running smoothly and cost-effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration:
Manage and support Azure and SharePoint environments including Entra, Azure VM’s, SharePoint permissions, SharePoint Sites
Manage and support Microsoft M365 subscription users and applications including Outlook, Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, Power Automate
Backup & Disaster Recovery: Design, build, and continuously improve backup and DR systems. Apply industry best practices and establish rigorous testing procedures for backups, failover, and failback.
Security: Implement and maintain best-practice security standards across all systems and infrastructure.
Vendor & Contractor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to build and maintain a healthy, reliable IT infrastructure.
Stakeholder Engagement: Meet regularly with VPs, Directors, and Managers to advise on how to best leverage IT infrastructure while managing and optimizing costs.
Project Management: Own and drive various IT initiatives, including continuous systems improvement, IT asset integration for acquired companies, new office onboarding, and application suite deployments.
Compliance & Security: Contribute to the development of procedures and systems supporting progress toward ISO 27001 certification, and ensure compliance with security policies and data protection standards.
Asset & License Management: Maintain accurate IT control documentation and manage inventory of IT assets and software licenses including software/firmware update processes.
Training & Documentation: Deliver training and support documentation for end-users.
Employee Onboarding/Offboarding for IT Assets, systems and applications.
Qualifications
Proven experience designing and managing enterprise-scale IT infrastructure, including remote access, Azure, SharePoint and M365 environments.
Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Windows 10/11 and MacOS as well as SQL Server.
Experience with Cybersecurity compliance and deployment for best practice in various environments (Cloud, On-Premise server, Desktop and Cloud-hybrid environments) as well as EDR, EPP, SIEM and MDM systems and Intrusion Detection/Monitoring of cloud and on-premise solutions
Strong understanding of security best practices and IT compliance frameworks (ISO 27001 experience an asset).
Experience with SSO and MFA including application and Entra integration and management. Experience with SAML and OIDC are an additional asset.
Experience overseeing helpdesk operations, including SLA/KPI management, ticketing systems, and support process improvement.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical leadership.
Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-company IT environments, ideally including M&A integration or office onboarding.

Kendrix Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and are committed to an inclusive workplace for all.
Kandor Management Corporation delivers security, cleaning, and technology through a single, connected approach to facility management. By bringing together Guardteck Security, Everclean Facility Services, and Kendrix Technologies, Kandor provides integrated solutions that help facilities operate to the highest standard across commercial, residential, retail, industrial, and event environments throughout Canada.
At Kandor, we believe the best results come from working together, which is why our three divisions share a common culture, training program, and commitment to putting people first.
Everclean, our janitorial and facility services division, is built on the belief that the people doing the work matter as much as the work itself. From interior upkeep to exterior maintenance, every program starts with a conversation, and every team member is developed through Kandor Academy, our in-house training program, to deliver with care, consistency, and pride.
Guardteck, our security division, was founded as a one-man operation in 2005 and has grown into one of Canada’s most trusted providers. Specializing in security guarding, event security, crowd management, mobile patrols, and VIP protection, Guardteck professionals are trained at Kandor Academy and embedded in each client’s environment, so the security presence feels less like an outside vendor and more like an extension of your own team.
Kendrix Technologies specializes in the design, installation, and integration of security systems tailored to your specific environment. Kendrix leads with the same people-first approach as our other divisions, taking the time to understand your workflows, your team, and your goals before recommending a solution and supporting you through every stage of implementation and beyond.
Our clients don’t just get a service provider. They get a partner.
We build people. We build teams.
