The Special Projects Attendant is responsible for maintaining park grounds by removing debris, cleaning event spaces, and performing routine maintenance on park facilities. The role also involves operating heavy machinery and assisting various departments with special tasks and projects.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid Louisiana driver's license. The position requires the physical ability to perform manual labor, operate machinery, and work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities: This job requires the employee to have the visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception , and the ability to adjust focus. The physical demands will require the employee to occasionally lift or move objects of up to 50 lbs in all directions.
The ability to speak and hear is required. The employee must be able to exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, in which they must convey detailed instructions to others to exchange information and assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned. The employee must have the ability to hear sounds at a normal speaking level with or without correction, including the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make fine discrimination in sound.
The employee must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
