Full job description
Our Mission
Reflection is a research lab making intelligence open and accessible for everyone to use, customize, and build on. We build open models that let anyone control their intelligence and help shape the future of AI. Our mission: make intelligence open and accessible to all.
Role Overview
We're looking for an exceptional Engagement Manager to drive the adoption of Reflection’s technology across enterprises. You will own the end-to-end AI deployment lifecycle, from identifying high-value use cases to driving organizational change and scaled adoption. This role blends strategic advisory with hands-on deployment leadership, working closely with Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and Forward Deployed Engineers to deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, AI-fluent, and energized by bringing structure to fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
What You'll Do
Support technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements. Work alongside Solutions Architects and Forward Deployed Engineers to structure strategic engagements, drafting Statements of Work (SOWs) that outline scope, milestones, and success criteria.
Enable Forward Deployed Engineers during project delivery by navigating organizational complexity and facilitating access to customer subject-matter experts, systems, and data.
Manage customer relationships by maintaining a regular cadence with executive sponsors and technical leads, while surfacing issues and celebrating wins.
Lead delivery operations, including sprint ceremonies, milestone reviews, and progress reporting. Translate technical complexity into executive-level updates.
Support technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and inform engagement design.
Support enterprise on-boarding processes by coordinating Reflection's teams to manage security reviews, legal approvals, and procurement processes with account executives.
Manage scope and change requests, setting clear expectations and negotiating contract modifications when necessary.
Capture customer feedback to inform our research and product development priorities.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in roles such as Engagement Manager, Technical Program Manager, or Deployment Strategist within consulting, technology, or enterprise software.
A proven track record of delivering complex technical projects to large enterprise customers.
High technical acumen with a solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, software architecture, and enterprise systems.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills with experience navigating large organizations.
You are energized by ambiguity and have the ability to drive organizational change, guiding customers from initial concept to full-scale adoption.
What We Offer:
We believe that to make intelligence open and accessible to all, you need to start at the foundation. Joining Reflection means building from the ground up as part of a talent-dense team. You will help define our future as a company, and help define the future of open foundational models.
We want you to do the most impactful work of your career with the confidence that you and the people you care about most are supported.
Top-tier compensation: Salary and equity structured to recognize and retain our talent globally.
Stock options: Everyone who joins and contributes to Reflection's success gets to share in the upside through stock options.
Health & wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life, with an annual wellness allowance.
Meals: Lunch and dinner are provided in the office daily.
Life & family: 22 weeks paid parental leave for all new birthing and non-birthing parents, including adoptive and surrogate journeys.
Vacation days: Unlimited paid time off in the U.S. and 30 days in the U.K.
Sponsorship support: We sponsor visas to help exceptional talent join our team and support long-term immigration pathways where applicable.
Team building: We have regular off-sites, happy hours, and team celebrations.
Export Control Notice: This position may require access to technology or source code subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Any offer of employment for this role may be conditioned on the Company's ability to provide the candidate with access to such technology or source code in compliance with applicable U.S. export control laws, which may require the Company to seek government authorization.
Reflection is a research lab making intelligence open and accessible for everyone to use, customize, and build on. Our team previously built frontier LLMs at labs like DeepMind, OpenAI, and Anthropic. We believe AI should be built in the open, with transparent research and collaborative development. That means giving enterprises, governments, and sovereign entities true ownership and control of AI that performs at the highest level. Our mission: make intelligence open and accessible to all.
