Recognized as a Leader in the GRC Market, LogicGate continues to further solidify its position as a best-in-class platform.
Excited about LogicGate but not familiar with GRC?
GRC stands for Governance, Risk, and Compliance
GRC professionals help their companies manage uncertainty, act with integrity, and stay on the right side of the law.
The GRC market is rapidly expanding with continuous growth opportunities. The current market size was valued at $50.5 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $104.5 billion by 2031.
About the Role
The Director, Cybersecurity drives the execution of LogicGate’s internal security and compliance program, protecting our SaaS platform and reinforcing enterprise customer trust. Reporting directly to the CISO, you will lead the security organization, operationalize risk management, and scale our SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP compliance frameworks. In a business building GRC software for global enterprises, your security program serves as both a foundational shield and a direct catalyst for enterprise sales. You will develop high-performing security teams, partner cross-functionally across Engineering and Product, and represent our security posture credibly to enterprise buyers.
What You’ll Do
Program Execution: Operationalize LogicGate’s enterprise security roadmap in partnership with the CISO, translating strategic objectives into daily InfoSec and IT security operations that safeguard customer data and platform integrity.
People Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing security organization—serving as the Deputy CISO—fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and strong team engagement.
Compliance Readiness: Own LogicGate’s enterprise compliance posture, ensuring that our security program aligns with frameworks such as SOC 2 Type II, ISO27001, ISO 42001, FedRamp, etc.
Customer Trust: Serve as the senior security voice in high-stakes enterprise customer engagements, conducting security reviews and fielding questionnaires to accelerate sales cycles and build buyer confidence.
AI & Security Innovation: Evaluate and integrate modern AI tools, threat detection technologies, and automated workflows into security operations to optimize incident response times and program efficiency.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner directly with Engineering, Product, Legal, and Operations leadership to embed security best practices into product development and operational workflows.
What You Bring
Required:
Security Leadership Experience: 7-10 years of progressive information security experience, including 4+ years leading security teams and owning end-to-end security operations, incident response, security engineering, vulnerability management, security architecture, and compliance programs.
Enterprise Compliance Mastery: Proven track record as the primary owner in deploying and maintaining security tools and processes that aligns with SOC 2 Type II compliance requirements and security governance frameworks within a high-growth SaaS environment.
Technical Acumen: Demonstrated expertise serving as an incident response commander, with deep technical knowledge across CNAPP, EDR, and SASE architecture.
AI Literacy & Automation: Demonstrated curiosity and practical experience leveraging modern AI tools, automated workflows, or LLM-driven solutions to optimize threat detection, administrative efficiency, or security operations.
Flexibility for On-Site Engagement: Willingness and ability to travel as needed for company leadership summits, team planning workshops, and critical customer or auditor engagements.
Nice to Have:
Senior Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent senior security credentials.
GRC Industry Experience: Experience at a GRC, cybersecurity, or compliance SaaS organization where internal security directly reinforces the commercial value proposition.
Scaling Expertise: Background building security programs through major growth events, such as Series C+ scale, IPO preparation, or enterprise market expansion.
Tooling Familiarity: Hands-on experience with tools such as Zscaler, CrowdStrike, GitLab, and Wiz.
The anticipated base salary range for the role is $190,000 - $240,000 per year + variable + equity + benefits. Actual salaries may vary and will be based on factors, such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Internal candidates who have current pay within or above the hiring range are still encouraged to apply if interested.
