The Housing Specialist ensures clients are ready for housing by providing training and developing permanent housing options in public and private sectors. Responsibilities include conducting eligibility assessments, maintaining affordable housing listings, and tracking client placements.
Candidates must have an associate's degree or 60 college credits and two years of experience in housing placement for low-income or homeless populations. A valid driver's license and knowledge of federal guidelines for low-income housing are required.

Position: Housing Specialist
The Housing Specialist assures housing readiness of clients by implementing appropriate trainings and developing permanent housing options in both public and private sectors.
Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), a community-based outreach program, we identify low-income veteran households and connect them with a range of supportive services to promote housing stability and prevent homelessness.
