Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience managing affordable housing portfolios and supervising staff. An Associate's degree is required, with proficiency in Yardi Voyager and knowledge of NYC housing agencies essential.

It is a multi-faceted real estate organization, involved in the development, finance, construction and asset management of new and rehabilitated multi-family housing for low to middle income New Yorkers. Through its subsidiary, Phipps Houses Services, Inc., it conducts residential and some commercial property management, and it’s tax exempt affiliate, Phipps Neighborhoods, provides human services to its development communities.
We are looking for a Property Manager for our site in East NY The Atlantic Chestnut Apartments is a development located in East New York Brooklyn and conveniently just a short walk away from public transportation. The buildings offer direct access to a shared courtyard featuring a playground and a garden. This culturally diverse and lively neighborhood is filled with thriving businesses, stores, and restaurants. When all phases are complete. the site will have approximately 1,166 affordable housing units.
Applicant MUST have experience in supervising a portfolio of affordable housing assets (3 yrs or more) along with managing a staff of direct reports. Responsibilities include: provide great customer service to our residents; oversee a site management and maintenance staff; P+L responsibilities; budget oversight; the ability to work collaboratively with site staff and other team members within the organization. Most importantly, the applicant must demonstrate excellent writing and budgeting skills and must be confident and quick thinking individual able to prioritize essential tasks.
