The QIDP leads the person-centered process by developing personal plans and implementation strategies for residents with developmental disabilities. They ensure agency compliance with Rule 115 standards and provide real-time coaching to staff to maintain service quality.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and at least two years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. Eligibility for QIDP certification and a valid Illinois driver's license with a reliable vehicle are required.

Responsibilities:
Maintains compliance with agency policies, procedures, and practices, and applicable federal, state, and city regulations
Maintains responsibility for ensuring compliance with Rule 115 (CILA) standards
Openly and professionally accepts feedback from supervisor/peers and adjusts performance and/or conduct based on feedback
Appropriately manages time to complete all necessary responsibilities by deadline
Participates in all required meetings
Participates in all required trainings, successfully complete mandatory trainings and maintain all required certification and compliance requirements
Leads the Person-Centered Process by facilitating Discovery Phase conversations, contributing to the development of the Personal Plan, and authoring Implementation Strategies that are clear, direct, results-driven, and quantifiable
Utilizes therapeutic language in assessments and service notes
Solicits, encourages and promotes resident input in all aspects of service delivery
Communicates effectively within the scope of job responsibilities and maintains positive, professional relationships with clients, parents/guardians, families, staff and community members.
Acts as a member of the intake and admission team
Convenes the Community Support Team (CST) as needed to revise service plans as part of the interdisciplinary process
Enforces internal health and safety policies, including established standards for home environments
Demonstrates strong written communication skills focusing on professional and organized reporting
Maintains attention to detail regarding regulatory compliance and deadline management
Ensures supports are consistent with established behavior, personal plan and implementation strategy, by providing in-real-time feedback/coaching if staff supports deviate from established plans or violate departmental and agency policies, procedures and practices or applicable laws/regulations
Immediately reports deviations from established plans and policy, procedure, practices, or regulatory violations to supervisor to ensure timely and appropriate follow-up
Actively pursues professional development and advanced training opportunities to enhance clinical expertise and maintain a high standard of regulatory compliance
Chair one Departmental Committee, follow up on recommendations and maintain minutes
Provide weekend on-call coverage on a monthly rotation
Works one weekend day

Requirements
Must be eligible to become a Qualified Intellectual Developmental Professional (QIDP) and complete the certification within six (6) months of hire date.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services is required.
A minimum of two years of successful performance working with adults with a variety of developmental disabilities.
Valid Illinois driver’s license, a safe driving record, and daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle for travel between residential and JCFS sites.
