Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Regional Program Supervisor and other staff within the Intake and Eligibility section. This position coordinates with other administrative support staff within the region to ensure administrative functions are conducted timely to promote Regional operations.
The Work You Will Do
Provides secretarial support to the Senior Human Services Program Specialist which can include preparing corresponded and reports, filing, and mail distribution.
Assists with the tracking and preparation of Waitlist and Community Affairs assignments including required monthly reports.
Answers phone and email inquiries timely and routes complex inquiries to appropriate staff.
Assists in the coordination of work assignments within the Regional Office including phone and receptionist duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Direct Deposit Program
As a condition of employment, a person appointed to a position in the State Personnel System is required to participate in the Direct Deposit Program. Banks, savings and loan associations, and credit unions are eligible to accept such deposits. Retirement funds are also required to be in the Direct Deposit Program.
Background Screening Requirement
It is the policy of the Florida Agency for Persons with Disabilities that applicants for employment undergo Level 2 employment screening in accordance with the requirements of Chapter 435, Florida Statutes, as a condition of employment or being permitted to serve as a volunteer.
