The DevSecOps Engineer will design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated security gates and automated workflows. They are responsible for managing infrastructure-as-code, ensuring configuration compliance, and supporting vulnerability management across hybrid environments.
Candidates must have at least ten years of DevSecOps experience, including five years in cybersecurity within large government agencies. A professional certification such as CISSP, IAT III, IAM III, or IASAE III is required, along with the ability to obtain a VA Tier 4 Public Trust clearance.
Custom Software Systems, Inc. (CSS) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support our clients' enterprise cybersecurity engineering program. You'll own the secure CI/CD lifecycle and the integration work that wires their cybersecurity tooling into a working, automated pipeline — building the automation, workflow libraries, and telemetry standards that let security scale without adding manual effort. This is hands-on engineering with enterprise scope and a heavy automation-and-integration focus.
