Responsible for the repair and maintenance of aircraft parts including batteries, wheels, engines, and propellers. Ensures all work is certified, documented according to latest amendments, and adheres to safety regulations.
Requires a secondary school diploma and a college diploma in aircraft maintenance from a Transport Canada approved facility. Must possess a valid Ontario 'G' driver's license and the ability to obtain an unrestricted airport security pass.
Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the Shop Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of aircraft parts and components.
Concern for Safety: Identifying hazardous or potentially hazardous situations and taking appropriate action to maintain a safe environment for self and others.
Teamwork: Working collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals.
Passenger/Customer Service: Providing service excellence to internal and/or external customers (passengers).

Results Focus: Focusing efforts on achieving high quality results consistent with the organization’s standards.
