To further strengthen our position and capitalize on future market potential, Produal is now seeking a customer-focused and technically skilled sales professional to develop our business, customer relationships and market presence in North-West Italy.

About the role

As Area Sales Manager, North-West Italy, you will report to the Country Manager Italy and take ownership of sales development in your region. Your focus will be on building long-term customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and providing technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.

You will collaborate with the Produal Italy team and colleagues across Produal Group to ensure strong alignment, customer support and delivery of business targets. Your external network will include system integrators, consultants, final clients and other key stakeholders in the building automation and HVAC market.

Your key responsibilities

· Develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets and expand Produal’s market share in North-West Italy.

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and potential customers.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and helping them solve technical and commercial challenges.

· Provide technical support and guidance on Produal products, services and solutions.

· Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to show the benefits and applications of our offering.

· Handle customer objections, follow up quotations proactively and support customers in choosing Produal over competitors.

· Collaborate with sales and technical teams to answer customer inquiries and resolve technical issues.

· Manage customer interactions, sales activities and customer data through CRM and ERP tools.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a self-driven and responsible sales professional with a strong customer focus, a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently while staying connected to the wider team.

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent experience.

· Experience: Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in building automation, HVAC or a related industry.

· Technical depth: Strong technical understanding of HVAC and building automation products, services and applications.

· Market knowledge: Good knowledge of the Italian building automation and HVAC market trends.

· Network: An existing network in the North-West Italy building automation and HVAC market is considered a strong advantage.

· Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

· Working style: Ability to plan, prioritize and manage your own work effectively.

· Tools: Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP tools for pipeline, forecasting and customer activity management.

· Languages: Native Italian and professional working proficiency in English.

· Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area and occasionally abroad for meetings, training and company or customer events.
