Manage emergency response and preparedness planning, including fire drills, spill response, and evacuation procedures.
Engage employees and management in continuous improvement initiatives for both safety and sustainability.
Develop and track KPIs for safety performance (e.g., TRIR, LTIR, near misses) and environmental impact, and report results to leadership.
Serve as the primary contact for government inspectors, insurance representatives, and third-party auditors.
Maintain accurate documentation and records related to compliance, audits, inspections, permits, and incident logs.
Lead or support the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives as part of broader ESG goals.
WHO YOU ARE:
Qualifications:
Comprehensive understanding of Canadian OH&S legislation, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
