The Senior Systems Administrator will oversee servers, storage, networks, and databases to ensure high availability and performance for tolling applications. They are responsible for troubleshooting, implementing security policies, managing disaster recovery strategies, and mentoring junior team members.
Candidates must have 15+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator with deep expertise in Windows environments, Active Directory, and Hyper-V failover clusters. An associate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
Summary
The Senior Systems Administrator position provides day-to-day advanced technical support for existing customer installations as well as new deployments of proprietary multi-server tolling applications. This role will be responsible for working both independently and in coordination with the regional support teams to resolve issues in a timely manner. Communicating highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel is a key part of this role and responsibility of the Senior Systems Administrator.

Physical Demands/Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions and moving traffic. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high in the datacenters.
