The lifeguard is responsible for maintaining a safe aquatic environment by preventing and responding to emergencies and performing routine water quality tests. Additional duties include supporting swim lessons, youth programs, and ensuring compliance with all safety policies.
Candidates must hold a current lifeguard training certificate including First Aid, AED, and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with previous lifeguard experience and knowledge of pool filtration systems.
