The Director of Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the general repair, housekeeping, and landscaping of two healthcare facilities. This includes managing maintenance staff, ensuring OSHA and state regulatory compliance, and performing predictive and preventative equipment repairs.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and five years of maintenance experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience in healthcare. Advanced knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry is required along with a valid driver's license.

Located in the heart of Mason, The Cottage of Mason and Montage Mason offer a warm, welcoming environment that feels like home—for both residents and staff. The Director of Maintenance will support both Mason facilities and have expert skills in general building maintenance as well as performing both predictive and preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment. This person will have the ability to work independently and troubleshoot mechanical problems and provide costs effective repairs. Provide leadership, guidance and on the job training to lower level Maintenance Technicians as well as housekeeping staff. As part of the Community First team, we prioritize service, teamwork, and a sense of purpose in everything we do.
Schedule: Day Shift Monday - Friday, available for on-call
Status: Full Time, Site Director Role

✅ You have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
✅ You have five years of maintenance experience, including at least two years of supervisory experience in a long-term care or healthcare environment.
✅ You bring advanced knowledge of plumbing, electricity, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical troubleshooting.
✅ You have experience working collaboratively with nursing, housekeeping, and facility leadership teams to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

Education: High School diploma or GED
Licenses or other required certifications: Valid state drivers’ license and no major driving violations for the past three years. The ability to maintain active auto insurance.
