Responsible for protecting guests, employees, and casino assets while ensuring compliance with gaming regulations. Duties include patrolling the property, investigating incidents, and managing emergency situations professionally.
Requires a high school diploma and at least one year of security experience, preferably in a gaming environment. Must possess a valid State of Colorado Gaming License and be at least 18 years old.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience in security operations, preferably within a gaming environment. Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, including contact with employees, customers, and law enforcement. Experience handling difficult customer relations and incidents. Demonstrated experience in crowd control. Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on application of self-defense skills.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Graduation from a law enforcement or criminal justice course is preferred. One (1) or more years of recent and related experience in security, preferably in a gaming environment.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License. Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. CPR and First Aid Certification are preferred.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion including frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing money carts weighing over 1500 pounds with assistance, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Essential duties require lifting up to 30 pounds, or up to 300 pounds with the assistance of other employees. Essential duties include working any day of the week and any shift of the day.
$16.50+ an hour based on experience
