Responsible for obtaining environmental approvals and conducting impact assessments to ensure operational and development targets are met. This includes managing environmental studies, supervising consultants, and providing strategic approvals advice.
Requires a tertiary degree in Environmental Science or equivalent, with a preference for 5-8 years of experience in the resources industry. Candidates must demonstrate advanced knowledge of State and Federal environmental legislation and strong reporting skills.

The Fortescue Environment team is currently seeking Senior Environmental Advisors within its Environment Approvals team.
As an experienced EIA Practitioner, you will be responsible for obtaining a range of environmental approvals to ensure Fortescue achieves its operational and development targets.
Key to the success of this position will be the ability to develop good interpersonal relationships with workers on all levels of the organisation. Personal commitment, competence, consistency, reliability and a practical approach are crucial elements of this role.
