JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the assigned Faculty, the student worker will support classroom instruction, ranging from grading to lab preparation to tutoring.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to complete detailed work.
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant course content.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be in good academic standing.
Must be currently enrolled or attending classes at Florida Polytechnic University.
Must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.25 and have successfully completed 9 credits or more in the most recent fall or spring semester with a GPA of 2.0 or better.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR OTHER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF LAW:
This position requires a criminal background check.
This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:The work schedule for this position will be discussed with the assigned faculty, dependent upon the student’s class schedule.
EXPECTED STARTING SALARY: $14.25 hourly.
