Full job description
As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, we have a vision to provide business applications, leveraging Amazon’s unique experience and expertise, that are used by millions of companies worldwide to manage day-to-day operations. We will accomplish this by accelerating our customers’ businesses through delivery of intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges. We blend vision with curiosity and Amazon’s real-world experience to build opinionated, turnkey solutions. Where customers prefer to buy over build, we become their trusted partner with solutions that are no-brainers to buy and easy to use.
JWO’s RFID technologies really change the way our retail customers operate both in-store and back-of-house. Customers need help adapting their infrastructure, tools, and operations to maximize the value they can extract from JWO’s RFID technologies. JWO's RFID Team seeks an innovative, solutions-oriented, and process-minded engineer to lead a program that works directly with retail customers, and between product, engineering, and operations teams, to define optimal end-to-end RFID solutions that meet our customer's unique in-store and back-of-house needs.
Key job responsibilities • Understand the business/operational needs and challenges of JWO’s RFID customers, across our current verticals • Stay current on the features and benefits of JWO’s latest RFID products and tools, as well as their constraints and limitations • Provide RFID customers the right (in-store and back-of-house) RFID solution the first time, proven with quantitative before/after data • Adhere to, enforce, and improve our store configuration and launch process, in partnership with sales and implementation teams • Identify any gaps in JWO’s RFID product offering and escalate them to our product team for short-term mitigations and long-term solutions • Present customer learnings, process improvements, program updates, and strategic roadmaps to senior leadership on a regular basis using strong written and verbal communication skills. • 25% expected travel based on business needs
A day in the life To be successful in this role you will need to be able to quickly learn the business and operational demands of our customers across different business verticals, and reliably define the right complement of RFID-based solutions that deliver demonstrable customer value. As your ability to deliver “the right solution the first time” grows, you will need to be able to define and drive the implementation of scalable processes and tools that ensure new customers continue to get the right solutions as our business and product offerings grow. You will work with senior leaders across the JWO organization, and work directly between sales and implementation teams to define, adhere to, and enforce store launch processes that quickly gather customer requirements and transform them into implementable RFID solutions that can be deployed quickly. You will be challenged; you will learn; you will work on high-impact & high-visibility projects; you will grow.
