Lead the global development of HMI component functions, including creating technical concepts, requirements, and specifications. Coordinate global stakeholders and manage project timelines, milestones, and risk management to ensure quality on-time delivery.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3+ years of experience in function development or system integration. Proficiency with automotive tools like Vector and Jira, along with strong communication skills for global collaboration, is essential.

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience.

Lead the global development of HMI component functions (e.g. camera integration, personalization, infotainment)
Create technical concepts, requirements and specifications; project coordination; support of implementation and validation
Align and manage scope definition and scope changes incl. bug fixes
Align, create, and manage requirements and specifications incl. functional and non-functional aspects.
Ensure implementation and validation/verification of deliverables with internal and external partners
Create, align, track, maintain related timelines
Coordinate global stakeholders (e.g. requesters, internal teams, supplier, projects)
Oversee project responsibilities, including communication, milestone planning, and risk management, to meet on-time delivery goals.
Create documentation, reports, presentations
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering)
Experience: 3+ years in function development and/or system integration
Strong background in features, systems and functions development incl. processes, methodologies, and tools
Experience with project management
Experience with automotive development processes
Experience with Engineering of commercial vehicles
Analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Tools: Vector tools, Monaco, Diagnostic Link, Jira, Confluence, Cplace, MS Office
Strong skills in communication and team coordination across global teams (considering different cultural backgrounds) especially with the US, Germany, and India
Proactive, confident, independent attitude
Ability to work in an environment of ambiguity and ongoing change required.
Experience: several years in Daimler Truck HMI Component Development
