· Verify and validate efficiency of packaging designs by conducting packaging transit and environmental tests per ISTA standards.
· Author and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) as needed and effectively communicate implications of packaging changes and requirements to all affected functional areas.
· Identify, develop, and implement packaging quality improvements, cost reductions, and customizations to meet customer and market needs.
· Lead all aspects of the creation of packaging drawings, samples and written analysis of proposed packaging designs for approval.
· Develop pallet stacking patterns, product packaging layouts and instructions for assembly.
