Job Description:
WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS
SkinHealth Systems builds its treatment devices — including the Hydrafacial platform — through the hands of skilled assembly teams whose precision directly determines product quality and patient safety. The Assembler I is the entry point into that team, responsible for executing assembly procedures on the production floor with accuracy and care. Every device that leaves the Long Beach facility represents this role's commitment to getting the details right. By maintaining certified trained status and following manufacturing operating procedures without exception, the Assembler I protects the integrity of every SkinHealth Systems product that reaches providers and patients worldwide.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Assemble complete products and sub-assemblies from components using hand and power tools, including wire strippers, crimpers, drills, and soldering stations, following established manufacturing operating procedures.
Assemble kits while maintaining quality and following manufacturing operating procedures
Identify and communicate product rejects and non-conforming items to the Production Lead promptly to prevent defective units from advancing through the line.
Maintain certified trained status for all relevant production lines and individual stations, including updated revisions, to ensure consistent quality across every build.
Maintain consistent work pace in accordance with standard work and takt time.
Verify part numbers, materials, and completed assemblies for accuracy.
Document production activities accurately and on time, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality system requirements.
Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, training programs, and cross-functional activities that enhance production efficiency and team capability.
Work cooperatively with teammates to meet daily production goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions (MOPs) and basic diagrams in English, as well as verbal instructions, to complete assignments accurately and on time.
Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination, with the ability to stand, walk, and perform detailed hand work for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to asking questions when clarity is needed.
Preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other quality management systems.
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
On-site, production floor role requiring standing and walking for the duration of the shift.
Frequent use of hands and fingers for precision assembly tasks involving small components and tools.
Ability to lift and carry materials and finished assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs with assistance.
Must wear PPE as required, including safety glasses, gloves, and ESD protection, throughout the workday.
Exposure to a light manufacturing environment with standard noise levels, machinery, cleaning agents, and assembly materials.
We mean it when we say you’ll LOVE this role.
Base Pay: $20.00/hour
