The Capital Projects Director will provide strategic leadership and oversight for the entire CAPEX portfolio across multiple business sites. They are responsible for managing project workstreams, ensuring safety and budget compliance, and driving continuous improvement through new technologies.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and possess at least 15 years of experience in project development and execution at a senior leadership level. Proficiency in HSE, engineering processes, and business fundamentals is required, while PMP certification is preferred.

The Capital Projects Director will have full accountabilities for all workstreams associated with CAPEX execution. The Capital Projects Director will manage/provide oversight of the CAPEX portfolio for all Trecora businesses. The Capital Projects Director will have one or more direct reports and oversight responsibility located at three Trecora sites, Baton Rouge, Pasadena and Silsbee.
