The Manager of Grants Design and Advice will lead the establishment and strategic development of the Grants Management Office. They are responsible for driving governance, policy frameworks, and advisory services to ensure effective and compliant administration of grant programs.
The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with significant experience managing the full grants program lifecycle in complex environments. They must possess deep knowledge of the NSW Grants Administration Guide and demonstrate success in building organizational capability and governance frameworks.
The Grants Management Office has been repositioned with a significantly expanded remit and strategic focus. This newly established function will provide expert guidance, advice and support for the design and development of grants programs, while strengthening governance, policy, capability and continuous improvement across the organisation.
As Manager Grants Design & Advice, you will play a pivotal leadership role in establishing and leading the Grants Management Office (GMO). You will drive the development of frameworks, policies, governance controls and advisory services that support the effective administration of grants for emergency preparedness, response, recovery and resilience initiatives. This is an ongoing role with a mandate to build long-term capability, consistency and stability across the organisation's grants landscape.

About the Agency
The NSW Reconstruction Authority is a statutory corporation and executive agency of the Premier’s Department, that will improve how NSW plans for disasters and ensure that we recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the NSW Reconstruction Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, businesses and government. When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities and other stakeholders.
